THE OPPORTUNITY

The VP of Engineering directs design engineering for analog, power (SiC/GaN), and mixed-signal product lines feeding AI data-center and industrial power systems.

MARKET CONTEXT

AI data-center buildouts have sharply increased demand for power semiconductor design talent, with multiple concurrent retained mandates for senior analog and power engineering leadership driven directly by hyperscaler and AI-accelerator power requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead design engineering strategy and execution for analog, power, and mixed-signal product portfolios.
• Direct SiC/GaN power device development to meet AI data-center and industrial customer requirements.
• Manage the full product development lifecycle from architecture through qualification and volume production.
• Collaborate with sales and product management on roadmap prioritization for AI and data-center accounts.
• Build and scale an engineering organization across analog design, layout, and characterization functions.
• Partner with foundry and packaging partners on process and integration requirements.
• Represent engineering strategy to executive leadership and key customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years of analog, power, or mixed-signal design engineering experience.
• Deep technical expertise in SiC/GaN materials and power-systems design.
• Proven leadership managing design teams through the full product lifecycle and qualification.
• PhD or master’s degree in electrical engineering strongly preferred.
• Experience serving AI, data-center, or hyperscaler customer accounts is highly valued.
