THE OPPORTUNITY

The Focus Factory Manager holds comprehensive oversight of all operations within a designated production area, with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. This leader directs a multidisciplinary team, implements continuous improvement strategies, and manages resources to fulfill customer requirements and organizational objectives. The mandate calls for a manufacturing leader with exemplary leadership presence, advanced problem-solving capabilities, and a well-established record in manufacturing management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct and supervise daily manufacturing operations within the assigned production area.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate production plans to meet targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Oversee inventory management, material flow, and supply chain processes within the production area.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance, issues, and solutions to senior management.
  • Promote a safe working environment and enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices and support process optimization initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management or a comparable leadership role within industrial operations.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing principles, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with relevant software platforms, including ERP and MES systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and quality management systems.
